I sent a message via the contact form the other day.

Has it been received?

I’d prefer not to make the content of the message public, if possible.

Updated the bcc to this:

<?php
add_filter ("ws_plugin__s2member_aweber_bcc", "s2_aweber_bcc"); function s2_aweber_bcc ()
	{
		return get_bloginfo ("MYEMAIL@DOMAIN.COM");
	}
?>

I then registered a new user, but I never got any email.

So I set up the directory, put in the supplied s2-aweber-bcc.php file, tested the parser again (no rulesets matched), registered a new user, tested the parser again (no rulesets matched), checked the log directory, and now there’s a file in there called, aweber-api.log.

What am I to do with that?

Okay, so I set up the aweber parser, added that particular listname to free subscribers in s2member, signed up using free registration page, registered, confirmed, checked the log files and there’s nothing in there but an htaccess file (and yes, log file settings are on).

s2member and aweber aren’t communicating at all it seems.

I’m not a newbie to this stuff. I’ve successfully set up DAP with WordPress, vBulletin, and AWeber all integrated.

That said, I admit I’m not the world’s most advanced techie.

I’m probably the middle ground of the knowledge of your customer base, and I really shouldn’t be getting confused by something basic.

Maybe I’m missing something simple? But, I can’t figure out what it is.

I was going to test (and maybe do a trial run with a small group of people) using Paypal.

But, ultimately it will be moving over to Clickbank so they can handle affiliate stuff.

However, I can start with Clickbank. Running the first group through with a Paypal button isn’t necessary. It was just my initial idea.

Does that help?

I know how frustrating it is to wait for an answer.

If you’re having problems installing, make sure you keep the free s2 member framework installed, and then add the pro folder to the plugins folder and it syncs automatically, as the instructions state:

First, you need to have the latest free version of s2Member® already installed (i.e. the s2Member® Framework). You can download the s2Member® Framework and install it manually, or just log into your WordPress® Dashboard, and go to Plugins -> Add New. Type in “s2Member” and click Install, then Activate the s2Member® Framework plugin.

Now, unzip the latest distribution of s2Member® Pro, and upload the /s2member-pro folder to your /wp-content/plugins directory via FTP. We recommend FileZilla™. You should end up with /wp-content/plugins/s2member-pro/pro-module.php, along with several other files and sub-directories.

Make sure you don’t accidentally nest two /s2member-pro/s2member-pro directories together. For example, this is NOT correct: /wp-content/plugins/s2member-pro/s2member-pro/pro-module.php. That’s it! s2Member® Pro will be auto-loaded by the s2Member® Framework.

That’s it.
