This is my first instance of using this product. Guess that makes me a newbie:).

After going live, I thought I’d try to “get behind the wall” so to speak. I typed in the url/a-page-people-might-think-would-be-there. The 404 error page populated inside the website. In other words, it got behind the wall.

We’re sorry, but the page you are looking for isn’t here.

Try searching for the page you are looking for or using the navigation in the header or sidebar

So there I was behind the wall. Clicking on links brought up the Membership Options page, which is okay. However, in my own best scenario, the user would never see behind the Front Door. Is there anything to be done about this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Glenda,

So if I understood correctly, you want to make it so that instead of a 404 page it redirects to the membership options page?

My first preference would be to be redirected to wp-login, but I would settle for the membership options page. However, I’d like to know where the 404 page is located, too.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Yeah it can’t be configured to redirect to the login page I’m afraid. I mean through code it’s possible, but otherwise…

The 404 page really doesn’t say much about your website that your membership options page doesn’t say. And without a 404 page it is *very* possible your members will be confused if they get redirected to it when a page doesn’t exist.
