Access restrictions

Hi there. I want to be able to have content which is only available to a member. SO each member logs in and there is a page on the front end which only they can see – no other members should be able to access that information, it should be visible only to site admins and that member – but each member should be able to access their own version of that page. Is this possible?

Hello Andrew, s2Member can’t do this, however with some custom coding it should definitely be possible. For example, giving each one of those special users a special custom capability (Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities)), and then with conditionals (Knowledge Base » Simple Shortcode Conditionals) control which users see which content. Does that make sense? – Eduan

Thanks Eduan. Unfortunately that is a little too hacky, I’m trying to find something with that solution baked in. Thanks so much for getting back to me.
