ACTIVATION KEY PROBLEMS FOR NEW USERS

Hello:

My web developer just set up an S2 Members Plug In on my Members Only Subscription Site. I fully intend to upgrade to Premium immediately BUT I have a problem that may be related to Buddy Press:

When New Members Register they receive an Email w/ a Link that requires them to “Activate The Account”. You click the link in the email and are directed to a page that says something like: “COngratulations, Your Account has been Activated, You may now Log In”

Upon loggin in for the very first time, a new user is immediately directed (not to their Member Profile Page which is the norm) to a page that says “Please Enter An Activation Key” and provides a field to do so. HOWEVER, this is ERRONEOUS. All the new user has to do is click our Live Chat or Videostream links, or their own profile to navigate away from this erroneous page. After that, every time that new user logs in, he/she is properly directed to the member profile page and the problem never resurfaces. BUT it is horribly CONFUSING for new registrants.

CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX THIS? Thanks, Adam

AFAIK, this has nothing to do with s2Member. s2Member does not ask for an activation key at all, nor does it require it at any point.

This is most probably added by BuddyPress or some other plugin. Most probably BuddyPress.
