adding s2member pro to wordpress

Hello,
I’ve been reading over tutorials, forums and watching videos for the past few hours and I cannot get s2member pro installed in my wordpress page.

I’ve downloaded Filezilla (gotten my FTP info from webhostinghub.com, who I opened my wordpress page with), then I downloaded wordpress and into the content/plugin folder I uploaded s2member as well as s2member pro. When that didn’t work I did them both separately and again it didn’t work. I’ve tried multiple combinations but I cannot get it right. I deleted my free s2member from wordpress and installed it again and did the same process on Filezilla, but that also did not work.

I have no idea what to do. Please let me know what I’m doing wrong and what I can do to get wordpress pro onto my wordpress page.

Hi Aixa.

Uploading via FTP shoudl have worked fine. Only thing that comes to mind is that, when extracting the plugins from the zip files, you had an extra folder created and ended up with /s2member/s2member/ instead of just one, same for s2member-pro.

Should I have s2member already as a plugin in my wordpress site or delete it and install it manually on Filezilla?

I followed the instructions and tried it twice… but it still does not show up. I really have no idea what I am missing. What else can I do?
