Hi there,

I’m using s2Member Pro and I have an issue.

I set up so that each buyer gets added to 2 email lists on purchase.

I use Aweber and had to manually add the Email Parser setup to my account. For some reason the PayPal checkbox and link is greyed out (this is inside Aweber).

In the s2Member settings (API/List Servers/Aweber Integration), I have two lists in the correct slot: list1,list2.

The problem: people are only added to list1 but not list2…

What could possibly be the problem here, and how do I fix it?

Hi Samuel.

Has the person confirmed the subscription to the second list?

Hi Cristian,

Do you mean the person who buys the products and then gets sent confirmation emails to both lists?

The problem is that the buyer does not get a confirmation email from the second list (only first one), and in Aweber, they’re not added to the second list.

Do you see what I mean?

Thanks for clarifying that. I’ll have to ask Jason about this, thanks for your patience. :)

Hmm. I wonder if this is AWeber blocking consecutive emails to the same person.
Just a thought. AWeber has been known to do this. ~ I’m investigating this.

Thanks guys – I’m as mystified as you are, I guess.

Thanks for your patience.

I too was able to reproduce this issue. It’s not always been the case, but it appears that AWeber now considers these duplicates; and they will do as I suspected originally; they will simply ignore (or possibly delay) the second confirmation email when two attempts are made simultaneously through email commands.

I contacted AWeber about this, and the following workaround was suggested.

@Jason

Thank you very much for looking into this, and I’m glad you were able to reproduce the error (and it’s not me who’s crazy! Although that’s often likely).

So it’s with Aweber, huh? Okay, thanks for the link, I’ll see if I can use that workaround!

Again, thanks Jason for your help in this.
