after login sent back to membership option

hi this has been going on for weeks and we cant figure out what is wrong. we get to login page, login and get redirected back to the membership options page instead of going to login welcome page.
Tried unplugging all widgets and running just s2 , still doesn’t work.
Any ideas….
Also cant access the protected page.

Is this happening for the admin or just users?

We test it on a different computer.

Has the user account you’re using reached the EOT?

That would cause them to not be able to access the member’s pages…

It is a free account, we wont be charging for membership.

if the free version doesn’t work on our site what are the chances of the paid version working?

The paid version really just adds some extra functionality to the standard free version. So, if you can’t get it to work in the free version, I wouldn’t bother paying for the pro version until you figure out what is messing up on the free version.

EDIT: I do not work for s2member so there is no guarantee I’ll find the issue but I’ve been using their plugin for a while now an I’m willing to take a look.
