I just implemented s2member on our ecourse site and am very much looking forward to putting it to good use.

As all posts on our site should only be accessible to members I configured ‘Restriction Options’ as following:

– Post Access Restrictions > Level 3 or higher > all
– Alternative View Protection > Filter all

This seems to work well. However, as a result the front page shows up blank for non logged in users. My question is: how can I implement a redirect to our course outline page instead? I’ve tried a few options already but they seem to all fall outside the s2member loop hence I either get an error message or blank page. I did look through the forum and also watched most all the videos but did not find a solution yet.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Found a solution myself. Created a small plug-in based on this code http://daan.kortenba.ch/redirect-to-wp-login-php-if-user-is-not-logged-in/ by using ‘&& is_front_page()’. Works like a charm and as intended. All set.
