Hello, [Edit] If anyone else is having this same problem, the alternative view section of the restriction settings DO WORK !!! What you may not have realized, and I did not until a few minutes ago, is that you MUST create a custom menu in wordpress and assign it to the locations you need. If you already have a menu, this is very simple, merely navigate to wordpress admin > Menus and create a new menu, and in it place the pages you wish to use. After that, select the location (important) where you want your menu to be seen. Once you have done that and you select the checkbox for nav menus in the S2 alternate views, your menu items will only show up when the user has the required level. This was tested on a live environment and using a live web login with a virtual machine running a separate ‘subscriber’ login. I made the changes back and forth in real time and it works just fine.
