We got a report from a potential member who attempted to use an AMEX card and received a “processing type” error (that’s all I have for data).

We’re using PayPal Pro Forms, and I checked the settings inside PayPal and American Express was/is enabled.

I’m running Version 130221 + s2Member® Pro v130221 with WP 3.5.1

Without an AMEX card to test, I’m wondering how I can verify that this is in fact working or not.

Any ideas?

I did not have logging enabled … should I enable that full time?

I did not have logging enabled … should I enable that full time?

Without logging data, we really have no way to troubleshoot this issue. We recommend leaving logging on, and notify us if/when this problem occurs again.

Well, you should enable logging if you want to debug this, it’s very helpful. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Log Files (Debug) -› Logging Configuration[/hilite]

Try to find someone with an Amex card to run some tests, even if 1 cent purchases.
