Another Wishlist User

Hi Guys,
I have a client who is currently running Wishlist – with a rather large site – 14 months of content – around 600 pages/posts. Continually having issues with Wishlist and WP – am unable to upgrade past version 3.0.5 as something in the mix breaks all of the permalinks for categories – returning the dreaded 404. The more content we add, the more bloated and unreliable it becomes.

I am interested in S2Member as an alternative, from what I have read it looks good – my question is how easy is it to import existing Clickbank subscriptions/members and also the existing member levels and protected content – does it stay the same or do we have to redo everything all over again?

It takes a little work to format your CSV import file for s2Member Pro, but certainly doable. You will find screenshots of the s2Member Pro Import/Export tools here.

Importing rules/restrictions for protected content is NOT currently possible. That would need to be re-configured in your WordPress installation using s2Member’s Restriction Options. These are available for experimentation in the free version of s2Member. Please check your Dashboard under: s2Member -> Restriction Options.
