I have an app that uses an external database but I want to authenticate users to allow users with LEVEL 2 access, for example, access to the app.

So the user (mobile user) would run their app and if they are a level 2 member, then they would be allowed access.

Is their any way to access the API for membership from a webpage accessed outside of wordpress?
