The Auto-Return Page Template customization feature is thoroughly disappointing. Really guys? All I can do is add a header to that ultra-bland page? Cant even change the background color to brand it better? Ugh… anyhow… great plugin, but seriously… this feature needs some love.

Although you can use PDT to return the user to a specific page… how does one provide the necessary link for the user to click to finalize the registration process? Nowhere does it even mention this seemingly absolutely necessary step… or am I missing something?

Is it really required to use s2member pro just to customize that page? The process is much more manual than one would expect from a pro only feature for something so important to maintain brand consistency, especially considering how robust everything else is about your product… this really falls short.

Please let me know how I can customize that page and maintain the link so user can finish registration. Ideally we dont have to fiddle with adding the phpexec plugin, create another php page into the mu-plugins directory and all that .

What payment gateway are you using? PayPal? You could use the [hilite mono]success[/hilite] attribute to specify what page the user should be shown after checkout. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Shortcode Attributes -> success[/hilite]

Oh, you just add a normal link to the registration page /wp-login.php?action=register, the user will have been cookied right before being forwarded to the custom success page, so he’ll be able to register and get the access he paid for.
