I have read through hours of forum posts, video tutorials, and your knowledge base.

I would like your opinion, please. I am building a membership site with two levels: free and paid monthly PayPal subscription. I want members automatically given access to the free site level upon signup to the email newsletter. I want them automatically given access to the paid site level upon upgrade. I want them automatically downgraded upon non-payment, and automatically denied access (although login saved in case they return) upon unsubscribing.

I am currently using MailChimp and KM S2M+MC plugin (http://krumch.com/2012/08/25/new-features-for-kc-s2mmc-plugin/#.UjPtFHy518s) to synchronize site membership with email signup. However, there are some problems. One problem is that visitors are still finding the WP register page.

I am considering switching to AWeber even though they lack support for mobile devices. In your experience, can I do what I need with AWweber? Can I do what I need with MailChimp? Do you recommend one over the other? BRIEFLY, how would you suggest I proceed? I realize this is a large question. We will do the install and integration. Just pointing me in the right direction or a warning about where the road leads before I invest the time would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

G’day, First I better say I am still very new with S2, so may be way off beam with any qu/answer, but can I ask – when you say,

One problem is that visitors are still finding the WP register page.

Can you be sure that it is because of MailChimp? I think anyone can access the login screen of WordPress (they just need the path), and if you have S2 set up as the replacement it should become the default login for the site.
At least – that is how my one and only site is working at the moment. Mind you – the site I am doing is not a ‘subscription model’ but one with multiple access levels, so may be different.
Hope you are able to work it out.

Hi Peter,

G’day. I believe you are correct. I guess the question is, how can I block the WordPress Register page when using AWeber?
