Best configuration for dev site

I am developing my own s2member site and want to have a dev copy of the site available ongoing so that I can test changes before putting them on my production site. It sounds like I can do that under the single site license. I currently have my dev site installed under a different domain name but could also put it under a subdirectory of my production domain. Does the single site license require one or the other – and are my assumptions correct about being able to use a single site license? The unlimited license is very reasonable in my opinion so I am happy to purchase either.

Yes, the single site license is enough. The development installation doesn’t count. :)
