I’m building my first ever membership site. To do this I built the membership section into a subdirectory of my root URL, i.e. twitterbadassery.com/members. My challenge is this. What I’m looking to do is have my home page (the above URL) show the login page. When I setup S2Member I set the homepage as protected but because of this, rather than show the login page, users are automatically redirected to the Member options page. My funnel does not need a member options page since all users would be pre-sold before seeing it. Is it possible to use S2Member to lockout the entire website and ask for logins for any page being accessed rather than go to a member options page??? I found a plugin (Member Access) that does this for me as a work around but I’m worried that it may create conflicts after I launch and it also does not redirect to a certain page. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you VERY much. P.S. I’m using the FREE version for now. |
