Can only login as administrator or subscriber

Yesterday my site was working fine. But today I can only login as an admin or subscriber role. When I try to login as an 2sMember level1 or level 2 or author role, the login page returns a plain text page that says “Service is unavailable.”

I think the problem is with s2Member because I started by disabling the User Role plugin, then the s2Member Secure file browser plugin, and then the Inline Upload plugin. The login problem remained with these disabled.

After I disabled the s2Member plugin I could login in roles other than admin and subscriber.

I am running WP 3.5.1 on a Windows server.

Looking for any suggestions.

Problem Solved

I discovered what the problem was on my own. Watch out for user IP restrictions. I needed to disable IP restrictions for my test user so that I could login as the test member. Didn’t realize that I have logged in previously from different IP addresses. Not sure how that part happened.

If you’re accessing the test user with a mobile device then it’s not strange that you got IP restricted.

If you didn’t then it means that your internet provider is making you access the internet from different places. I don’t really remember how it works but that’s the case.

Of course, these cases are if yo got blocked even though you didn’t even move your computer.
