Hi guys,
So I’ve come to find that recently members aren’t able to cancel their own subscription once signed in. Basically, I’m able to use a couple different “dummy” accounts to sign in without issue, but then when I try to cancel the subscription through the “My Account” area, it times out. I’ve tried this for a couple different accounts for the last couple of days without success.

The time out I get is:

“The connection has timed out

The server at http://www.get2sleepnow.com is taking too long to respond.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.”

But like I said, my internet connection is otherwise fine on other websites as well as this website in all other areas.

The actual page code or the “cancel membership” page is as follows (and I don’t believe I ever changed this at all):

[s2Member-Pro-AuthNet-Form cancel=”1″ desc=”This will cancel your account at the end of your current subscription. You will not receive the discounts for future on-going subscription. Are you sure you want to cancel at this time? This cannot be undone.” captcha=”0″ /]

I look forward to your thoughts. Thanks!

Craig

Hi Craig.

I wonder if there’s a PHP error or a plugin conflict.

Could you try, as a test, deactivating other plugins but s2Member, and see if the cancellation pro-form works then? To deactivate them in that page only, you can try this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/plugin-organizer/

Do you have a PHP errors log in your server? Maybe you’ll get an idea of what the problem is from it. This may also be useful: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Debug

I hope that helps. :)
