Cancled subscriptions where not being demoted

Hi, I’m using S2member pro with Paypal and I noticed today that when a user was canceling his subscription and his EOT date has passed his wordpress membership was never being demoted. I researched the problem using your support forums and noticed that the IPN Notification URL was setup but “message delivery” was set to disabled. Would that cause the problem? there member ships have been being Promoted OK, Just not Demoted so I’m not sure if “message delivery” being disabled would cause the problem.

Also now everythings out of sync. I have 132 members on wordpress showing a “Paid” subscription. But Paypal shows only 77 Active. Thats a big problem. Is there a way to sync the two without having to do it manually?

I don’t know a way to synch them other than manually… I’ll check with Jason if he knows another way.

I’m pretty sure you need “message delivery” enabled for the notifications to work. Make sure you have logging enabled and see what the logs say. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Log Files (Debug)[/hilite]
