Hello,

As the title says, after having deactivated s2member temporarily, I am now unable to log in to my WordPress backend (dashboard, etc.).

I can only access my frontpage of my website (the live website seems to work flawlessly, fortunately) at http://www.leadingpractice.com.

What do I have to do to be able to log in to my backend?

Thank you!

Hello Ulrik,

So you can’t access http://www.leadingpractice.com/wp-login.php anymore?

Correct, I was unable to log in through the link you mentioned. It just sends me to the frontpage of my website.

But anyway, I reverted to an old database backup and completed my website updates over from scratch. I am fully up and running now, and everything goes smoothly.

I would like to know, however, if there is something I need to be aware of should I need to uninstall s2member in the future? I’d hate to run into that problem again.

Thanks.

Hello Ulrik,

Glad you solved the problem. :)

Well, honestly since I don’t know the reason for the problem I can’t offer any tips on how to avoid it in the future. I can say s2Member did not cause this though.

It’s most probable it was a conflict with s2Member though. One of your plugins or your theme conflicted with s2Member in a way that caused this error.
