I have followed all instructions with s2member and CCBill setup and it seems to be working however the user who signs up is not receiving an email to continue registration. I have read some of the other posts on here and tried to solve the problem however still no registration email coming through.

Do you want me to provide you with the log file information so you can help me fix this problem?

Much appreciated.

Hi, thank you kindly for the reply.

First of all I installed WP-mail plugin and I went through all the process again. However it isnt generating a log file in wp-content/plugs/wp-mail-log folder so I cannot check on this.

The registration process is working, the only problem is that the email is not getting sent to the user after so they can confirm the registration process.

This is what I get in the log s2 log file: (seems strange it has a mention to Paypal in there?)

Thanks for the update.

Part of the processing after the payment is done by s2Member with code that originally was just for PayPal, before ccBill was added. For that same reason, the logs that have PayPal in the name are also relevant to you.

I’d like to look at all the logs and settings, maybe test a registration too. Could you please send me the site’s info? Let me know after you did so I look for it. Thanks! s2Member® » Private Contact Form

Thank you for the information. We received it and I was about to take a look at your installation on behalf of Cristian, but it appears that you have another method of validation on your site with a browser popup, and none of the credentials that you provided work here. Could you send us another Private Message with the information to get past this?

Thanks for your patience.

I tested your regular email functionality, and your New User Registration Email functionality and both worked just fine. I’m also not seeing any information in your logs that would cause this. Have you tested this with a test transaction yourself?

Hi, yes we have and no confirmation email comes through. We have had 3 new members sign up via CCBill in the past couple days and we have had to manually go and add them as a user because they have contacted us saying they have not received username and password. This is because they are not receiving the registration confirmation email to complete the sign up in WordPress.

I just tried again with test details and showed as successful signup then I got to a page from s2member which says:

Thank you! (you MUST check your email before proceeding).

* Note: It can take (up to 15 minutes) for Email Confirmation with important details. If you don’t receive email confirmation in the next 15 minutes, please contact Support.

I keep checking the email I used to register and also the spam folder but nothing is coming through.

Thanks for your patience.

Do you have a specific Subscription ID that you know this happened on that’s logged? You can send this information privately through this form again:

Let us know when you’ve sent that.

Hi Bruce,

Its not a shortcode but a link and is on the Become a Member page in Pages.

Its is:

<a href="https://bill.ccbill.com/jpost/signup.cgi?clientAccnum=945774&amp;clientSubacc=0000&amp;formName=72cc&amp;formPrice=29.95&amp;formPeriod=30&amp;formRecurringPrice=19.95&amp;formRecurringPeriod=30&amp;formRebills=99&amp;currencyCode=840&amp;s2_p1=30+D&amp;s2_p3=1+M&amp;s2_desc=Platinum+Member&amp;s2_invoice=4&amp;s2_custom=http://www.mistressasian.com&amp;s2_customer_ip=58.8.113.36&amp;s2_referencing=3&amp;formDigest=5f743c1e65f9f68496a8f66e05a867d3"><img title="Join here" alt="" src="http://www.mistressasian.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/CCBill-logo.png" width="124" height="77" /></a>

It has happening on every member who signs up via CCBill.

One of these are a subscription from CCBill:

Thank you kindly.

Okay there are two problems here. The first is that you should be using an s2Member shortcode here. If you need a link, you can change the output attribute of your shortcode to url and it will do this.

The second is that your custom attribute in this link is wrong. It has a http:// prepending the correct information. This is what’s causing your issue.
