change membership options page button colour

hi there

i would like to make some alterations to the text fields in the membership options page

i would like to remove the text “create profile” at the top and “complete registration” at the bottom. i would also like to remove the “(lowercase letters and/or numbers)” beside the username

and finally i would like to change the button colour of the submit form button

i would also like to do something similar for the log in page

i would like to remove the text “Membership Login” from the top, change the colour of the log me in button and i would like to add some padding to the check box before “remember me” so that it is inline with the text

can someone guide me on the process to be able to achieve this??
