Changing Domain Names on a Membership Site

Hello,
We’re currently running a membership site using s2member and really like it – however, we’re considering a marketing shift which would mean changing the domain name of our membership site. Question is, how would this impact the existing members on the site? Would their accounts and payment terms remain in place and connected to PayPal if we did so?
