Clickbank test and custom thank you page

Hi,

I am doing some testing with clickbank and have some issues:

If I do a test for IPN notification I get the following reply from clickbank
The test notification failed to send. Please ensure that you have specified a valid notification URL and have entered a secret key.
Instant notification URL http://russianforbeginners.org/?s2member_pro_clickbank_notify=1

when doing a test purchase my custom thank you page is not shown but:

http://russianforbeginners.org/?s2member_pro_clickbank_return&s2member_paypal_return=1&s2member_paypal_proxy=clickbank&s2member_paypal_proxy_use=standard-emails%2Cty-email&s2member_paypal_return_success=http%3A%2F%2Frussianforbeginners.org%2Fthank-you&s2member_paypal_proxy_verification=1343796609-0fa72ac16a0393b2b7adc8f09b83e175

instead of :
http://russianforbeginners.org/?s2member_pro_clickbank_return=1&s2member_pro_clickbank_return_success=http://russianforbeginners.org/thank-you

Now I did notice that it shows some references to paypal in the first url, very strange

That’s because s2Member, after receiving the notification from ClickBank and processing the data a bit, it forwards it to the code that processes the PayPal transactions, because it was the first that s2Member had and ClickBank was added later. Sorry about that confusion, we’re improving this in the new s2Member being developed.

Could you verify that you set version 2.1 for the notification API in your ClickBank options?

yes i did put it on 2.1

As for the thank you page issue that was not mentioned when I purchased and I really need my own thank you page is there another way of doing that?

When is the new version due?

Sorry, there’s still isn’t a date for the new s2Member’s release. But the PayPal mention in that URL is not what’s causing you this problem.
