Hello! I have just installed s2Member on our website in order to test it out. We need an effective plugin for controllling file downloads (digital, not purchased, only available to specific member levels), and s2Member appeared like a good option. I have checked out some of the file download video tutorials. They are really good and explans the plugin well. I have a few questions, though, so here goes… I am looking for basically 2 things: 1) A non-registered membership level that has default access to most of the content of our website, excluding our file downloads section. So, at a glance I haven’t seen anything that would appear like statistics around file downloads, but is this available (does not necessarily have to be extensive statistics)? Regarding our membership levels, we would prefer to offer membership at a certain level (we only need 2 levels, level 9 and level 1) to specific people only. This is how we work: In our company, our customers pay for getting certified within specific business areas, and afterwards we invite them to register on our website. By registering on our website, our certified customers would then be able to visit a certain webpage on our website with a list of downloadable files that are available to them (available to everyone at membership level 1). We do not want open registration since we have nothing to offer for regular registeres users. It wouldn’t make any sense, really. Membership level 0 would then be considered non-registered users? Is this something that would be possible to do? I am not sure how to go about this registration thing. Looking forward to hear from you, thank you very much! |
