Hello, please forgive me if there is a post asking the same question as mine, but I have not been able to find it.

As to my topic, I am curious about the effects of combining two different payment gateways in the stability of s2member, and its effects on the functions.

For instance, my product has two level of access. Level 1 is manually granted to those who have purchased a book at a book store and shown their receipt as proof of purchase. Their access is limited. Level 2 is granted to those who purchase full access online, using ClickBank as the payment gateway. They get lifetime access to all the features.

My question is, would it be conflictive to also integrate paypal so those who have level 1 access can purchase a level 2 upgrade with one click? Would they be required to create a new user name? Would this disrupt the function with Clickbank?

Your answers are greatly appreciated.

Hi Israel.

Would this disrupt the function with Clickbank?

No, that’d be fine. You can have the ClickBank and PayPal buttons one next to the other, using the shortcodes in your post.

Would they be required to create a new user name?

No, as long as the user is logged in to his account when he clicks the button, it’ll upgrade the existing account.

can purchase a level 2 upgrade with one click?

What do you mean with the one-click part? It can’t be done in one click because s2Member doesn’t have the card information stored in order to charge it, the user would have to go through the regular checkout to upgrade.

I hope that helps. :)
