Hi,

I am working on a website where people can buy subscriptions to certains pages. Costumers can buy a lifetime access, a monthly access (recurring) and a yearly access (recurring).

I am based in the Netherlands, this means I can not sign up for PayPal pro.

The only two business options I have are PayPal Standard Checkout and PayPal Express Checkout. Am I correct in thinking that PayPal Express Checkout does not work with s2member and so I need to go with PayPal Standard Checkout?

I’m also a little confused about recurring payments. When a costumer pays with a credit card, does Paypal Standard actually support recurring billing with credit cards?

I know this information can be found online, but I am pretty confused. I’ve been reading about recurring payments and subscription payments. Some say there is a difference, others say PayPal has now made them the same. Sadly, the dutch PayPal website is seriously lacking in information.

Thanks in advance.
