I’d like to create a membership site to host training courses. I plan to provide coupon codes that will discount a specific course. The code will be issued to a specific person for a specific course. It won’t be a generic code that can be used by multiple people. This is similar to codes issued from instructors at Udemy. Can s2member issue that kind of code? How is that processed with PayPal? Do I have to first create a code with PayPal then make s2member aware of the code? |

Hi Brett. No, coupon codes can only be limited by expiration date, not uses. We’ll be improving this in the future, but it’s not ready yet.
The only way to do it would be to have a page for each user, protected with a custom capability just for him, and then limit the coupon to be used in that page only. It’s not practical if the coupon is meant for lots of users. :/ |
