Is it possible to create an S2Member/WordPress account via REST or another type of API call?

Here’s the concept.

  • Visitor wants to buy something (ie, membership, physical product, whatever)
  • They place everything they want into a shopping cart and make the purchase (I’m thinking of using Shopify)
  • After the order is placed, if one of the cart items was a membership, then a call to S2Member or WordPress would create the account
  • User then can login with their email address and password
