I am using a wordpress theme called Stereoline and it has a video gallery with the option to create categories for each video. I input these video category IDs into the category restriction setting but they are not protected. There is an option when I add a video to the gallery which is similar to creating a post that has a drop down to set restrictions. This option works but again if I use the ID for the video categories in the category restriction field it does not. However the category IDs for regular wordpress post are restricted just fine. So I am left to think that its just an issue with the theme having separate categories for its video gallery??

I wanted to have two categories of videos one called “freebies” (sample/preview videos) & the other “private” (for paying members) it would be easier to have the restrictions set to a category rather than having to select the drop down for each one. Any idea why this is not working or a fix for my issue?
