Hi All,

Hope you can help!?

As the site admin, I can update the custom registration fields. What I’d like is for my colleagues to be able to update the options on the checkboxes/select fields. However, I don’t want them seeing any other settings! Is this at all possible?

Thanks in advanced

Hi Simon.

I don’t know if that’d be possible easily… If possible, then it’d be with a lot of customization.

You’d need to create a new role with the right capability to show him the s2Member admin panel for this. Still, I don’t know it’d let you narrow the access down to just one part of one panel, instead of a whole admin page.

Here’s an article on creating a new role, which you may find instructive to start working on your own. Knowledge Base » Creating A "User Manager" Role

I hope that helps.

Thanks Cristian, I’ll keep looking to see if it can be achieved! If so, I’ll post my findings.

Am wondering if it may be possible to hide certain elements using javascript and permissions but need to look into it further

Cheers
