Hi, team

Firstly, I love your product – wish I had found it sooner!!

I have purchased the pro version to use as a client portal in this initial project – so all #0 subscriber level members.

My question relates to the sidebar widget – is it possible to change/add a drop-down option once the user logs in to direct them to their own page, as per the Client Portal video that Jason Cadwell authored?

And I’m wondering if there is a way to add more/change the display text in the same widget once the user is logged in.

If you could point me to the right files to look through for these purposes, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sincere thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan. Thanks for your inquiry and kudos :-)

Certainly possible if you have the know-how. You will find the API Function written in PHP for this widget, documented here. I think you’ll find this helpful.

The source code for this aspect of s2Member is located in the documentation here.

Hey, Jason

Thanks for the quick response :)

I’ll have a dig through the documentation and post any questions on this thread should they arise.

Through testing last night, I discovered that User Registration for Level 0 doesn’t have to be open if manually adding clients, which is awesome due to the nature of our business site.

Have you had anyone integrating s2m member field calls (ie [s2Get user_field="user_email" /]) with Gravity Forms pre-populated field functions before?

I’ve read through this thread -http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15822&p=61941 – and can see that some further integration is in the works for Feb/March – is this still in the pipeline?

I’m really hoping not to have to create an individual Gravity Form per client :P

Thanks again,

Dan

Hi Dan. Thanks for the follow-up.

Yes, we are currently working to improve s2Member in a variety of ways. For now, we have that Shortcode available, or you could also pull details using the API Function itself, which is documented here
( including LOTS of examples :)
