Denied access – permissions

Wordpress blog will not allow me to login as admin.. In fact I can’t log out either. I can view pages as a pre-logged in member but I am not able to log in as administrator to word press.

My primary goal is to get access to the WordPress Admin panel.

Here is what I have done so far..

1. Checked the sql database.. All seems ok, roles set properly, admin setting seems ok
2. Fresh install of wordpress using ftp. undated everything except wp-content folder

When I try to login or log-out either as the admin account or normal user account I get page not available or not proper permissions.

As I said, website runs fine as long as I was logged in before problem started. I run two browsers all the time, one with admin log in and one with member login. That way I can see that things are working fine.

Could you post the exact error message you get, please?

You can also try, in case it’s an s2Member restriction doing this, removing the s2member directory from the plugins folder and try logging in, and then put the s2member directory back.

If that didn’t work either, then it may be another plugin, try removing them one by one from the plugins directory, testing after each if you can login.
