different profile page for each type of users

Hi everybody,
and thanks for this awesome plugin.

I’m wondering if it would be possible to customize each user profile with custom template for profile page.

I would also need to customize the action that different level of user can do, like
– level 0 cannot message level 1 & 4
– only level 4 can browse profile 1 ect…

I didn’t unverstand if this kind of modification it’s possible…

It seems like an enormous and complicated task, but maybe it is good for the site. Creative suggestion!

This will require lots of custom customizations, since s2Member doesn’t already come with this.

You might be interested in using custom capabilities and conditionals for this kind of functionality BTW. Here are some videos and articles about them:

If I understand I may change with a conditional the file buddypress takes for profile.
Since it use member-header.php for profile page, I can modify the file where member-header it’s called and use a conditional to let bp use a different file for each profile type.
