Do people need to activate?

As owner of a web & print media business, LOVE S2Member.. Considering making a purchase for the PRO version.

However in the meantime, please tell me:

I have used this -http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14947#p53487 – to redirect people to the Welcome Members page, (direct redirect rather then taking them to a paid page – member option page first). Works well…

But, do people NEED to activate and confirm their email address before becoming a member? Can they not do this part, and just get redirected to the Welcome member page, after registering?

Can the registration say “You are now registered sucessfully”

Any thoughts & help most appreciated.

There’s a hack that allows automatic login after registration.

Create the file /wp-content/mu-plugins/s2hacks.php and in it put

[hilite pre_code]
