Hi Guys –

I hate to open a new thread, but I need to bump this and there are now 2 inter-related issues using S3/CloudFront/CDN…

As noted in http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/s3-cdn-getting-started/
the patch provided in http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/s2stream-short-code-url-problem/ (which has been closed on the forum) causes problem with the S3 request.

However the problem with the file names in the URL crops back up (since I had to remove the patch). As you see in the JW Player playlist (actual filename replaced with FILENAME for security reasons):

sources: // Available sources.

the non-RTMP file (the .mp4) has the bug with the %2F’s instead of the “/” in the filenames. And if you try to edit them (manually for testing), S3 doesn’t like the signature.

Would you kindly take a look at this ASAP and let me know how to fix. Or hopefully the patch Jason supplied in the first thread above can be updated.

Thanks,

Ira

Hi Jason & Bruce,

Thanks for the follow-up on the linked item. I just updated to v130404 and it looks like the problem has gone away.

Thanks,
