Edit user profile API

Hi,

Just wanted to check that if we edit the basic user profile details that S2 member uses (username, email, password etc) via either the WordPress hooks or S2 Member API — using a user form we’ll somehow generate — will that have any negative effect on the way S2 Member works?

We’re generating a timestamp with custom fields, but will need to do something similar with S2 Member basic fields so ideally create our own process to allow the user to edit those details.

Not 100% sure of the correct hook to use for that purpose but sure it’s in the docs.

No, changing the user’s profile won’t affect s2Member’s behavior, unless you edit his role, capabilities, payment gateway, subscr ID or EOT time.
