When a user registers via s2member pro form (for a level 0 subscription), the subscriber is automatically activated (without verifying that the email address actually exists).

Can s2members be set up to send a confirmation email to the email address submitted during the registration process with a link that the user would have to click in order to activate the free subscription?

Hi Hamid.

What you can do is not allow custom passwords, then he’ll need to go to his email to get the generated password before logging in. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields -> Custom password[/hilite]
