Email From Name not working

Under General Options > Email Configuration, we have a site name under Email From Name and an email address under Email From Address, but new user email messages are showing the email address as the From name. Can someone please help point me to where we need to look to fix this? We want the new user email message to have a name, not an email address in the From field. One more issue: WordPress is still sending out the S2M custom email messages to users and the admin even if we turn OFF custom emails and revert to WordPress defaults. So something is buggy. Can anyone help us sort this out? Thanks in advance. Andrew

Thank you for reporting this important issue. This sounds to me like Caching on your installation. Do you have any caching plugins installed like W3 Total Cache? If you do, please disable these and run another test.
