We use Authorize.net and it is giving this error when a payment attempt is made. How do I resolve this error?

Unfortunately, that is the extent of the error: (appears in a red box)

“Error #33. Bill To Company is required.”

It’s not very descriptive and since there is no option to provide a company field in the billing area, I’m not sure what to do. Any ideas?

Hi Leah.

I googled that error and found that you probably have the Company field set to required in your Authoriz.Net account. Just make sure that isn’t the case and the error may go away.
