Migrated a site from my test server to clients host globat.com. The script is giving the “Error. Please contact Support for assistance.” when I fill out my form and click the paypal button. I have updated all settigns and someone was able to signup once but it has stopped working since. http://www.renowheelmen.org/individual-member-signup/

I Have contacted the host and they have given up and suggest i contact plugin developer. The plugin does work on my test server and someone has been able to process a signup.

s2Member will only throw this error when a full connection failure has occured, which is what your logs show:

0 => 'connect() timed out!',

There are a few reasons this might happen, such as a plugin blocking connections or an invalid server configuration. You should start first by disabling all plugins but s2Member, and reverting to a default WordPress theme, and trying again.

Thanks and I have tried all that. Weird thing is we are noticing signups randomly but other times and when I try I get the error.

The host has acknowledged the problem as a paypal connection issue and is looking into it.

Any other ideas besides switching hosts?

Unfortunately we can only tell you what’s happening, the source of the block is something your hosting provider will need to find.
