Error upon registering

When the user gets to this point http://www.smallbusinessdoer.com/wp-login.php?action=register after completing a registration, wordpress spits this out:

The registration is successful, but the user is left with this screen. Do you know what would be causing this?

Ok, fixed the issue after a few hours of futility.

It turns out it was an issue with how my web host (Nearly Free Speech) works in assigning groups/owners to uploaded files. Everything is assigned to me by default, instead of web.

I followed the instructions at http://www.sarahpin.com/2008/07/04/how-to-get-wordpress-working-under-php-safe_mode-on-nearlyfreespeechnet/ and it worked like a charm to fix all woes!
