Hey there, so I’m in the process of upgrading to the new jwplayer v6 and s2stream .. I’m able to embed this onto a page but there are 2 things, first, when I visit this page containing this code on my mobile I see no video player at all. Second, the player is said to resize itself depending how someone is viewing, I don’t see that behavior happening when I scale down my browser. Isn’t this code supposed to work with mobile?

[s2Stream player="jwplayer-v6" player_path="/jwplayer6/jwplayer.js" player_width="480" player_key="xxxxxx" file_download="access/v2/ia-ep3-joey-beltram.mp4" /]

Figured it out!! Needed include a download key=”true” for videos I’m serving to non logged in users.. I do have one other problem.. When using RTMP, I’m getting really bad playback stutter which doesn’t exist in any of my old configs on version 5 player.. Thoughts?

Glad you figured it out. :)

I’ll ask Jason about the stutter with RTMP. Just in case he needs it, please submit your site’s info and the page you’re testing this in. Thanks! s2Member® » Private Contact Form

Thanks Cristian, it seems that it’s in issue a slightly older safari browser.. So I think we are in the clear.

Regarding stutter; this could be caused by a buffer length that is too short for some devices.

You can add this to your s2Stream Shortcode.

[s2Stream player_option_blocks="rtmp:{bufferlength:10}" /]

Regarding this option for JW Player…
