Hi team,
I’ve got s2Member Pro (and love it) but cant work out one thing and need some help please.
I have two levels working on S2Member Level 1 for paid and level 0 for free members but…

The sequence for my level 2 registration seems to be: site registration using the level 0 shortcode > user is ased to login> mailchimp gets the new user and sends the mailchimp confirmation email etc.

In this sequence, my free users can join the site but opt out of the maillist which means I cant update them with news about the free product they’ve signed up for. Is there a way to force the mailchimp registration BEFORE the website registration or first site login so they are on the mailchimp list please?

I’ve read all the related frum posts and have now just got myself confused I think about how to do this.

Hi Ziggy.

You could use a regular MailChimp opt-in form.

If the email address the person opt-ins with, is the same they register with, then the s2Member-MailChiimp integration may still transition him to another list when he upgrades his account… [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› Automate Unsubscribes/Opt-Outs[/hilite]

You can test and see if it works.
