Hi my name is Armando and I just started using the FREE s2membership site
I am setting up the site for my sales team/appointment setters.

Like a virtual office for them, so they can get all the sales materials etc

My goal is that when my team goes to the main page,
the only thing they see is the “home page” with some
copy and then a link to sign up/register their accounts.

Then, they can log in and see the other pages on the menu bar

The problem I am having is when I send my
team to the site they are able to see all the pages on
the menu bar without having to sign/register.

Help!

Hello Armando,

To solve this, I suggest you check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Alternative View Protection and check the option that reads “Nav Menus”, of course you can check the rest of the options if you want. :)

Hope this helps. :)

Eduan

I am wanting to add categories on the right-side bar only for members once they are logged in

So I having the same problem that I am able to hide the pages on the menu bar, but the categories
show when new visitors hit the site.

How do I make them only available once users log-in

Thx
Armando

Not sure you can accomplish this with s2Member, atleast not without custom coding.

What you could do is surround the widgets area with s2Member PHP conditionals, that way only logged in users can see it.

You can find an article about conditionals here: Knowledge Base » s2Member® Conditionals

Just remember the shortcode conditionals wouldn’t work.

Hope this helps. :)
