Forum username change?

I’d like to have the username on my account changed – where/how is the preferred method to make this request?

You can change your name in your Profile:

You can change that in the Display Name field.

I see, no it’s not possible to change your Username itself. This is a restriction in WordPress itself. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Actually, it is entirely possible, it just requires either a plugin or a manual change to the user table in the database.

s2Member’s forums system and many other things that have to do with the working of the site run based on a User’s Username, as it is designed to not be changed. If we changed your Username you would likely lose a lot of the information you have associated with your account.

The short answer is no, you cannot change your Username.
