Hello,

I’m trying to setup a website that will ONLY allow free membership. This should be easy, right?

No matter what I do, I get this error:

PayPal® configuration error. Please configure your PayPal® Email Address.

My shortcode on my registration page is this:

[s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form register=”1″ level=”0″ ccaps=”” desc=”Signup now, it's Free!” custom=”sondagesfantastique.com” tp=”0″ tt=”D” captcha=”clean” /

Under: s2Member® General Options,
“Open Registration” is set to yes (though changing this to “no” doesn’t fix anything.

What am I doing wrong????

Hi Veronica.

That’s because you’re using a PayPal pro-form, but without any PayPal account details entered. Although it’s a free registration and PayPal isn’t required, it’ll output that message being in the PayPal pro-forms set. If you won’t receive payments, then you can just enter fake credentials: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details[/hilite]

I hope that helps. :)
