My site: http://www.custom-page.com/apps/

I’ve been using the plugin for a while no problem. Suddenly, the general options page displays blank. All the other S2 Member Admin Pages show fine.

Also, log-in page is cutting off banner image suddenly: https://www.custom-page.com/apps/wp-login.php

Any assistance in figuring this out is much appreciated.

Hello Matt,

I see that you are using cloudflare,

That really needs to be disabled when trying to debug problems and may even be the cause.

Also its not configured properly and will cause other problems with regards to client IP.

Do you have root access to your server?

Hi Philly,

Thanks for your tips. I do have root access.

I disabled the CloudFlare service (Paused website in Cloudflare control panel) How is it mis-configured and how can you tell? I’ve not been very happy with the cloudflare problems I’ve had in other terms either.

But the General Option page still shows blank though. I’ve been using the cloudflare for a few months but this error just happend. Any help or insight you have is very appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

Issue resolved. Conflict with upgrade to plugin. A recent upgrade to the WordPress HTTPS seemed to be the issue. Deactivated it and everything back to normal. I appreciate your info and anything you can tell me about CloudFlare issue would be great as I am looking for way to trim cost and $20 for Cloudflare with ssl support is not ideal.

Thanks again for your reply.

Hi Matt,

The problem I noticed straight away is that as cloudflare works as a reverse proxy server, your web server a therefore php and s2member see cloudflares IP address as the client address.

The problem this causes that I know about are with s2member’s Brute Force IP/Login Restrictions and Unique IP Access Restrictions. You would need to disable those or risk locking everybody out as s2member sees every member as coming from the same IP(cloudflares).

To resolve this you can install cloudflares apache module(if your using apache) so that the correct client IP can be passed on to apache.

I found some docs along with instructions for other servers

https://www.cloudflare.com/wiki/Log_Files

Let me know if you need any help
