When new member registers, it should be subscribed to our list. But in “account”->”API Keys” page in MC account shows an error (call failed) and a message “(250) List_MergeFieldRequired”.

I have been running pro for over a month now and it has never updated my MC. I can send you login info for both accts if needed.

Thanks in advance!!

Thank you for reporting this important issue.

When new member registers, it should be subscribed to our list. But in “account”->”API Keys” page in MC account shows an error (call failed) and a message “(250) List_MergeFieldRequired”.

It sounds like you have a missing or invalid MailChimp API Key here. Could you please follow the instructions provided to set up your API Key again, and see if that fixes the issue?

See: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› MailChimp®

Please let us know if problems persist.

I just created a new one. We will see if that fixes it. I also double checked my list ID’s. Can you tell me how long it takes MC to update after someone subscribes?

I just update my plugin and noticed the new logs. I registered a test subscriber. It did not update. Here is the log file. Can you tell me what is wrong?

Thanks for the follow-up. ~ We are very sorry for the delay.

I did some research on this topic and it appears that this is normally caused by a field being required in your MailChimp® setup. Please do the following and run another test:

1. Please login to MailChimp.
2. Click “Lists”.
3. Find your list and hover over “Settings”.
4. Click “Fields and Merge Tags”.
5. Make sure ALL “Required” checkboxes are unchecked.
6. Press “Save”.

Let us know if problems persist. :-)
