Higher Membership and custom caps

Hi

I’ve set up our site so that Level 4 members should be able to see everything.

For the lower level, 3, we are using custom capabilities for two different types of posts that go out.

What we want is that Level 4 members can automatically see all posts, including those with custom capabilities set.

Is this possible to be set centrally instead of having to update each level 4 member with the custom capabilities?

Hi Barbara, thanks for your inquiry.

You might take a look at this utility plugin, which will allow you to add global Custom Capabilities to one of s2Member’s built-in Roles. So for example, you might give Role “s2member_level4” some additional Custom Capabilities by default, such as: access_s2member_ccap_videos, access_s2member_ccap_music, etc.
